Goals
Introduce young adults to the Word of Allah
Development of key concepts
Increase awareness in students and empower them to have a personal relationship with their Deen.

Complete Qur’an tafseer in four years

Methodology
Help understand style, allegories, connections
Touch upon history when required as tafseer aid
Touch upon laws briefly. The goal here is to inform students that Qur’an guides all aspects of life.                   Focus on the Wisdom behind the laws.
Focus on few key Arabic words in the Qur’an ex taqwa, eemaan, akhirah, taubah etc.

Outline
Read a running translation of the Qur’an in sequence.
Overall general pace: each lesson two ruku. ( Long tafseer burdens students and they lose the sense of accomplishment)
Application and Tazkiyah (Purification)
Discussions.
Empowerment: students are encouraged to “own” their relationship with the Qur’an independently of family and peers.
Application in our everyday life, with examples.
Activity based implementation: reading ayaat of the Quran at home during the week, keeping a journal of gratitude, introspective writing

Communication
Build trust and comfort with the instructor.
Opportunities to ask sensitive questions or make comments anonymously.
Participation in group chats via phone apps.

HADEETH LEVEL I
What is Sunnah and Hadeeth?
Why is it important to study the Sunnah?
What was the role of the Prophet SAW?
Loving and revering the Prophet SAW and his teachings
History of hadith collection
Classification of hadith simplified: saheeh, hasan, da'eef and fabricated.
Prominent male and female scholars of hadeeth and their books.

HADEETH LEVEL II
Study a selection of ahadeeth from Saheeh al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim and 40 Ahadeeth of Imam Nawawi RH
Discussion and Application
Adaab ( Manners) with the Prophet SAW and his teachings
