“Al-Salaam” is one of the names of Allah. Our soul craves tranquility. Allah tells us: “It is in the “Dhikr” (remembrance) of Allah, where hearts find serenity!” (13:28) The best way to connect with Allah is to remember Allah constantly with our tongues, hearts, minds and actions. Connect with Allah and listen to Him through the Qur’an, since Allah calls it the Dhikr. (15:9) Dhikr is through salah as Allah says: “And establish salah (ritual worship) for My Dhikr” (20:14)
